Exploring the Silk Road
The Silk Road, which carries the exchange of Eastern and Western civilizations, has been a dream land for explorers and travelers since ancient times. Crossing deserts, mountains and rivers, along this ancient trade route, we can feel the cultural accumulation of thousands of years and the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature. The Mogao Grottoes, a millennium old grotto, are adorned with murals and sculptures that complement each other, telling ancient stories. Strolling between the Mingsha Mountains, listening to the rustling sound of sand at your feet, it seems like you can hear the echoes of history. Leaving Dunhuang, we continued westward and arrived at Jiayuguan. This magnificent pass is an important node on the Silk Road. Standing on the tower of Jiayuguan, overlooking the Qilian Snow Mountain and looking closely at the mudflat of the Gobi Desert, the vicissitudes of history and the magnificence of nature are intertwined, which makes people excited.Continuing forward, we have arrived in Zhangye. Starting from Zhangye, we head north towards Wuwei. Here, we can visit the Leitai Han Tomb and experience the profoundness and depth of Han Dynasty culture. At the same time, the grassland scenery of Wuwei is also a major attraction, with vast grasslands, clear lakes, and flocks of cattle and sheep, forming a beautiful picture.
Next, we arrived in Lanzhou. This city, crossed by the Yellow River, has become an important stop on the Silk Road due to its unique geographical location and rich cultural heritage.
